Known as the Book of the Hunt (Livre de la chasse), a beautifully vibrant manuscript in the Morgan's collections, it contains eighty-seven miniatures that cover a variety of topics, including the types of animals that can be hunted with dogs; the various breeds of hunting dogs and their proper care; strategies for hunting; and the main type of nets and traps. 

This miniature on canine illnesses and their cures depicts eight different scenarios described in the text, integrated by the artist into a coherent composition.
